Pixel's Hive

Pixel's Hive is a company specialized in preparing files for printing designs for clothing and promotional products. By working with multiple on-demand clients worldwide and a wide network of remote workers, it aimed to optimize its workflow through a comprehensive project management platform—a tool to help teams organize, track, and execute artworks efficiently.

The challenge

The main challenge was to create an efficient management system that streamlines the execution and monitoring of artwork and communication among different teams. Emphasizing key points such as forms and the shopping cart, through clear identification of each step and proper structuring of the content.

The solution

We reorganized the information architecture for a more logical navigation. We optimized the artwork review process with scalability of this digital product in mind. Each role (Client, Designer, Team Leader) should have their own dashboard tailored to their specific needs. We increased interactions among these three roles to reduce errors when requesting, reviewing, and delivering artworks.

Clearer information for a better experience

We defined the user journey by enhancing the touchpoints among the key actors involved in the normal process within the platform. We incorporated a filtering instance for clients searching for designers, allowing them to search based on availability, skills, or status.

Create, read, update and delete user information

We organized the navigation, structured each page of the dashboard, and added the necessary functions for a better user experience. Administrators can now manage users more easily.

Order an artwork, now easier

We have redesigned the communication between roles, improving their interaction and making the artwork page a single place with the intuitive navigation that the industry demands. For this reason, clients can now connect from anywhere and consult the status of their work more easily.

Level program to build customer loyalty

We designed the badges for the client's loyalty program, taking as a starting point a fragment of their logo. From there, we developed a distinctive visual identity for these recognitions. To increase their perceived value, we were inspired by the symbolism of gemstones, associating each level with a gem with unique characteristics in terms of color and value, a common strategy in gamification.

Illustration

Combining illustrations within a minimalist user interface was definitely a great success and a valuable opportunity to address platform interactions with users in a stylish and appealing manner. Strategically integrating graphical resources that add personality and additional value within the brand's system proved to be effective.

Conclusion

By redesigning Pixel's Hive project management platform, we optimized the learning curve for all roles. We ensured error reduction through a well-designed user experience tailored to modern and most recent patterns and the specific needs of the three user types involved in the company's workflow.
